County Hockey: Staffordshire 2023/24 Development Centres

Players who want to play more hockey and develop their skills outside of school or club hockey can attend Staffordshire Development Centre (DC) sessions.

• At county DC sessions, players take part in a range of training to develop their skills and begin to stretch them beyond school and club hockey.
• Development Centres are primarily for ages 12-16, although talented younger players maybe considered.
• Kids can go to as many sessions they want, at any DC centre(s).
• Cost £10 per 2-hr session
• There will be a final festival on Sunday 10 September, where each of the Development Centres will enter sides and the Academy (i.e. county) teams for the 2023-24 season will be selected.
•  The Academy (county) training centres for next season may be Lichfield HC, Willenhall E-Act or Abbotsholme, and training will generally be monthly on Sundays.
