Four Star U12s Shine in Telford

On Sunday 24 March, Beacon entered U8, U10 and U12 teams in a mini festival held by Newport HC at Wrekin College, Telford.

Our U8s faced a stiff test in their event, but still came away with two draws and one goal scored by Matthew.

The U10s fared better with three wins, a draw and 10 goals, including (at least!) 6 from Charles and a debut U10 goal from Connor ⚽️🚀 Also on the scoresheet was Zyon, who marked his Beacon debut with a stunning strike across goal from just inside the circle. 🤩

The U12s were low on numbers but were helped in each round by players from different clubs. Despite this disruption to the team dynamic, the quartet of Jonah, Dan, Charles and Luke showed immense resilience and strength and worked extremely hard for each other. It was a great challenge for the players, which they coped with admirably.
