On Saturday 19 October, Beacon Badgers played an away game at Cannock HC, winning 4-2.

A hard-fought win in our trickiest match so far this season. Cannock kept finding space on the wings and at the back post, which led to one of their goals, and had some hard-hitters at short corners. But we managed to limit their scoring chances by crowding out the midfield.
Nevertheless we needed Drew's heroics in goal at the other end to save at least two goals.
There were some incisive link-ups and wing play, particularly between Jake, David and Gunnar, and some well-taken goals at crucial moments, which kept us in front after being pegged back to 1-1.
💥 Pick of the goals was Gunnar's follow-up strike into the corner from just inside the circle, after his low smash from a short-corner was saved and rebounded back out.
