On Sunday 24 November, Beacon U14s entered a mixed League event hosted by Cannock HC at Chase Park.
It was a fun day for all and thankfully the worst of the weather stayed away, Storm Bert must have been taking a breather...🌩️
We played 3 matches, winning 2 and losing 1. This was a "Tier3" event, aimed at developing less experienced players -- so the emphasis more on having fun and less on winning the competition!
It was great to see all the teams lending players to those teams that were short... like us! Thanks Bloxwich, WaTs and Sutton 😁👏
Well done to the players: Dan, David, Drew, Jacob and Luke, who battled through despite feeling under the weather, and big thanks to the hosts Cannock for putting on a great event.
Next meet is at Sutton on 8 December. We want to enter a mixed team, so girls are especially welcome to play!
