On Sunday 19 January 2025, Beacon U8s entered a "mini festival" tournament hosted at Bishop Vesey's Grammar School by Sutton Coldfield HC.
On what was a very chilly day (about 2°C!), our U8s won 1 and drew 1 of their 5 games, letting in 11 goals but scoring 15! All the goals were scored by Jamie (9) and Zayden (6) 🚀
Well done also to their team-mates Cayden, Hayden and Diana for getting stuck in and using all their hockey skills.
Big thanks to the parents for supporting the event, especially Katy for keeping track of scores and scorers, and also to the hosts SCHC for the effort put into organising a great morning of junior sport.
