On Sunday 7 October, Beacon HC entered U8 and U12 teams in the season's first mini-festival, hosted in Aldersley by Wolverhampton&Tettenhall HC.
Our U8s went unbeaten, drawing 2 and winning 3 of their games thanks to goals from Jamie (2) and Zayden 🚀
The U12 team won all 5 of their games, netting 11 goals and conceding none. Top scorer was Charles with 6 (inc. a hat-trick ⚽️⚽️⚽️), ahead of Jonah (2), Sean and Jayan.
U10s Zyon and Donald did really well despite stepping up an age-group.
Some of our players also helped out Cannock and bagged another 4 goals for them! Well done to scorers ⚽️ Drew (2), Yuvraaj on his debut, and Jayan again 💪, as well as Connor and the other Beacon U12s who helped out 👏
Big thanks to Linnie for coaching the U12s, and Chris and Stephen for the photos, the players and their parents for supporting the event, and also to WaTs HC for the effort put into organising a great morning of junior sport.
