On the evening of Friday 9 May 2025, Beacon U14 Boys Tier2 team visited Lichfield HC for a friendly match, racking up a convincing 12-1 victory. Scorers: Vibhav 5, Oskar 3, Aarav, Ishaam and Gunnar, plus an own goal.
The hosts were slightly understrength but that takes nothing away from our team, who were on the front foot from the start and hit the ground running with an early goal. It was great to see us using a variety of short corner routines to great effect.
Well done to the players, the parents for providing the transport and encouragement, and to coach Dave for managing the team.
