On Saturday 18 October 2025, Beacon Badgers travelled to Bishop Vesey's Grammar School to play Sutton Roses in the Tier3 Badgers Conference.
It was another action-packed encounter and Beacon soon found themselves behind, but gradually got a grip on the game as the minutes ticked on.
Very well done to Bella and Keshia who had excellent debuts 👏, with Bella sticking close to her mark in the back three and Keshia just ahead in defensive midfield, acting as a link between defence and attack, before seeing out the game up front.
Our Badgers team is a mixed team and more girls are very welcome to play.
In this match, close marking and defending from the front help us keep up the pressure on the home side, although getting caught too high in fast counterattacks nearly cost us dearly, particularly in the first half.
