Junior Festival Season Off to a Flyer

On Sunday 28 September, Beacon HC entered U8, U10 and U12 players in a "mini festival" tournament hosted in Aldersley by Wolverhampton & Tettenhall HC (WaTs).

We didn't have enough players this time to enter U8 and U10 teams, but U8 Jamie helped one of Lichfield's teams and U10s Isra and Matthew played for Wednesbury. Well done to Isra for making her mini festival debut 🚀

The U12 team won 3 of their 4 games, netting 11 goals and conceding 5. Top scorer was Sean with 5 (inc. a hat-trick ⚽️⚽️⚽️), ahead of Jack (3) and Ella (1). Lichfield players Noah, Vinny and Stan also scored for us - thanks Lichfield! There were also two superb debuts by Olaf in goal and Ella outfield 👏🏅

Extra special thanks to WaTs HC for the efforts in putting on an excellent first festival of the 2025-26 hockey season.
