Our future home - QMGS

The new astro pitch at Queen Mary's Grammar School WS1 2PG will become our main pitch once it is built.

The QMGS pitch is due to be completed by the end of 2025, although delays are possible.

We plan to relocate our junior and adult training base to QMGS from spring or summer 2026.

We’re excited about this next chapter in our club's journey and we hope you’ll be part of it with us.

Questions and Answers

Why is junior hockey activity moving to AURC in September?

Streetly Academy are resurfacing their astro pitch for September 2025. It will become a 3G football astro pitch, which is not suitable for hockey.

AURC will be our junior base temporarily until completion of the new pitch at QMGS, which will become our permanent home for all adult and junior activity.

Why change weekend training from Saturday mornings to Sunday mornings?

AURC is already our main venue for our adult hockey teams. We have 6 Mens teams and 2 Ladies teams and half of them play every Saturday at AURC.

We also share the AURC pitch with West Brom HC, who play their home matches there, so there is insufficient pitch space on Saturdays.

Why is weekend training starting at a later time?

The AURC astro pitch is open from 10am on Sundays.
