Well done to Beacon U12 players Ethan and Aamir, who took part in the "Bloxwich Mini Festival” 7-a-side hockey tournament held at the Willenhall E-ACT Academy on Sunday 23 October, against 7 sides from other local clubs 🏑.
The U8 + U10 events were unfortunately cancelled due to rain 🌧️, but the sun came out in time for the U12 event 🌤️, in which Beacon entered a joint team together with West Brom HC and Barford Tigers HC.
The “3Bs” team secured 2 wins and 1 draw from their four games, scoring 7 goals and conceding 3 💪 to finish 5th out of 8 teams.
Thanks to Bloxwich HC for hosting and getting all the U12s out on a rainy Sunday. Thanks also to the players and parents, and to the opposing teams who helped us out with another player or two! 👏
